I am Monica Brown, artist and company owner. Most of my life, I have lived in Pennsylvania outside of Philadelphia. When I graduated high school, I could only envision myself going to college to become a professional artist.

After graduating with honors and winning an award for my thesis gallery exhibition, I planned on getting my masters in art therapy.

 

Instead, I moved to live on a dude ranch in Montana a week after earning my bachelors. There, I met my now husband, and together we had 3 kids while living outside of Phoenix, Arizona. 

 

In addition to exploring Western states, I have taught at an arts camp in New Jersey, worked at the shop in the Philly Museum of Art, helped with Hurricane Katrina cleanup in 2006, 

and studied art abroad in Florence, Italy.

My husband Tim and I just bought our first home and live in Saegertown, PA just south of Erie.

​

I work as a substitute teacher while building my company and practicing a daily creative habit.
